Key takeaways
This disposable lab coat is built like a reusable coat: a knitted collar, knit cuffs, three pockets and plastic buttons. It suits labs and clinics that want the look and function of a proper coat without laundering. It is listed in six versions of the same style, and color coding by department can be configured per order.
Clinical, research and quality-control laboratories, pharmacies, outpatient clinics and visitor programs, especially where color coding separates departments, visitors or contractors. For a lighter or cheaper coat, or a short jacket, see our lab coats and jackets family.
SPP lab coats with knitted collars, pockets and cuff options. The final configuration, packaging and supporting documents are confirmed against your order and destination market.
Confirm the intended use, material, size and model before sample approval or production. Product-specific options are recorded in the quotation and specification sheet.
Packaging, artwork and carton requirements can be reviewed for the selected product. Feasibility is confirmed for the exact order rather than assumed across the category.
Available quality and export records vary by product and market. Share the destination and required documents so they can be checked before approval.
Clear answers for preparing a comparable sourcing request for Lab Coats.
It is a three-layer non-woven: spun-bond polypropylene (SPP) on both faces with a melt-blown polypropylene (PPMB) layer in the middle, the structure usually called SMS. The melt-blown layer adds a barrier to particles while the coat stays breathable.
Knit cuffs sit close to the wrist, so sleeves do not drag through samples or catch on equipment, and glove cuffs can be pulled over them. Open or elastic cuffs cost less but are less secure.
A three-layer coat gives more barrier than single-layer SPP, but no liquid barrier level is listed for this coat. For blood or chemical splash risk, use a gown with a stated barrier level, such as an AAMI Level 2 or 3 isolation gown.
A lab coat opens at the front with buttons and looks like a traditional coat. A lab or isolation gown usually closes at the back and covers more of the body. Coats suit general lab work; gowns suit patient care and splash-prone tasks.
