Infusion & Injection
Disposable Luer Lock Syringe, 1 ml to 50/60 ml
Secure Luer Lock connection
Disposable sterile syringes are designed for accurate injection and aspiration of fluids. The Luer Lock design provides a secure connection between the syringe and needle, helping prevent leakage or accidental disconnection.
Key takeaways
- Threaded Luer Lock tip helps keep needles and connectors attached, reducing the risk of leakage or accidental disconnection.
- 3-part construction: transparent medical-grade PP barrel, PP plunger and synthetic rubber gasket, with a latex-free gasket option.
- Eight sizes from 1 ml to 50/60 ml, supplied with or without a stainless steel needle; EO sterilized, individually packed.
This disposable Luer Lock syringe has a threaded collar around the tip, so the needle or connector screws on and stays attached during injection, aspiration or flushing. It is the 3-part luer lock syringe many hospitals specify when syringes are connected to extension sets, infusion lines or other Luer Lock devices.

Buyer questions, answered
Clear answers for preparing a comparable sourcing request for Disposable Sterile Syringes – Luer Lock.
Luer Lock vs Luer Slip syringe: which is better?
A Luer Lock syringe screws onto the needle or connector, so it resists leaks and accidental disconnection, especially under pressure or when attached to a line. A Luer Slip syringe pushes on, is faster to use and usually costs less. Our two lines share the same sizes and materials; the Luer Lock line also lists a latex-free gasket option.
How do you attach a needle to a Luer Lock syringe?
Keep the needle cap on, place the needle hub over the syringe tip and twist clockwise until it is snug. Do not overtighten. Follow your facility's sharps safety procedure when removing and disposing of the needle.
How do you know what size syringe to use?
Pick the smallest syringe that holds the full volume you need to draw or give. Smaller syringes have finer graduation marks, so the dose can be measured more accurately. Our Luer Lock syringes run from 1 ml to 50/60 ml.
Are the Luer Lock syringes available without a needle?
Yes. The needle is optional, so you can order syringes alone and buy hypodermic needles in the gauges you need.
